Chakra literally translated from the Hindi means 'Wheel of spinning Energy'. It is believed that these seven major energy centers are aligned in front of the spine. Directly correlating  with the organs located in the area of each chakra. There are four Secondary charkas which are hands and feet.  The number of Chakras is disputed throughout  many regions of the world.

  4th Chakra (Heart) Anahata, Colors : Green, Pink : Stones: Aventurine, Rose Quartz, Kunzite, Emerald, Pink Tourmaline, Green Tourmaline, Energy : Expressing compassion, love ,joy and all emotion.

  3rd Chakra (Solar Plexus) Manipura,Color : Yellow: Stones: Citrine, Topaz, Calcite, Apatite Energy : manifestation of goals, digestion,  intellect, ambition, personal power, & protection.

  2nd Chakra (Sacral) Svadhisthana Colors : Orange, about 2 inches below  Naval Stones: Citrine, Wulfenite, Amber, Carnelian Energy: Creativity, healing, sexuality and reproduction, desire.

  1st Chakra (Base, Root) Muladhara Color: Red, base of spine, Stones:  Obsidian, Rhodonite, Smokey Quartz, Garnet, Red Jasper ,   Energy : Stability, grounding, physical energy, security and ability to work lovingly on the physical plane.
